ACYC Schedule for the Remainder of 2008
· July 19 - Race #2 (make up) is scheduled for July 19. Meet at the clubhouse 0900 hrs.
· July 26 - is a general membership meeting 1000 hrs with work party and BBQ. We will complete the repairs to the club house. Please bring hand and small power tools. The BBQ will be pot luck. Please bring food. There will also be an evening movie in the clubhouse!
· August 9 - Combined ACYC and Club Rio Open House! 1000-1600 hrs (4 PM) BBQ included.
· August 16 -Cruise Out to Decker Island (with a rope swing!)
· August 30 -Prospect Slough Cruise Out.
· September 13 -general membership meeting. With work party and BBQ pot luck. Please bring food.
· September 27 - “Fisherman’s Cup Race“- Long distance race with the course to be determined. Bill and Doug will establish the race course and publish as soon as possible.
· October 10-11- Fleet week cruise out. This will be the opportunity to preposition our boats for the Half Moon Bay Cruise. We will be taking the boats to Berkeley Yacht Club. Please contact Shaun at the Owl Harbor Office if you plan to attend as space may be limited.
· October 17-19- Half Moon Bay Cruise out. We will be leaving from Berkeley Yacht Club. Please RSVP to Owl Harbor Office. We need to know how many boats will be attending. This will be great experience!
· November 8- Committee meeting is scheduled for 1000 hrs and the general membership meeting at 1600 hrs (4pm). Elections will be held for the 2009 officers at this time. Plan for a BBQ and movie. This meeting will also allow members to present ideas for the 2009 year including Cruise outs and races. We need fresh ideas.
· November 15-The new board will meet to establish the 2009 calendar.
· December 13-Holiday Party. General membership meeting at 1000 hrs. This will also be the Christmas Dinner. We will discuss the 2009 calendar at that time. All members and a guest are invited to attend.
